Lines in the sand (2024) · Siglufjörður, Northern Iceland · Basalt stone and snow/ice land art installation, film and photographs. A high-tide line of black basalt beside a parallel line of snowballs, running 100 m along a north Iceland beach — a new line in the sand for sea level rise, and the last ice 'defences' melting. The work and film travels from “Antarctic to Arctic”.

Home (2025) · Ilulissat, Greenland · Land art installation and photographs: ice, snow, water, food colouring. An igloo of rainbow ice bricks — with a matching ice chess set — after the colourful houses of Ilulissat, where 'illu' simply means house. Colours once coded a building's function; here they stand for 'different together', and home at every scale.

Inverted cemetery (2025) · Longyearbyen, Svalbard, Norway · Temporary land art installation and photographs: found rusted nails, cardboard. Dark crosses of rusted found nails set on snow opposite the town's white-crossed cemetery. Decay and renewal, surface and burial - Longyearbyen's extractive past, its 'nail in the coffin' and quieter rebirth.

Sfærenes harmoni (2023) · Finnskogen, Austmarka, Norway · Transient ice sculpture installation, photographs and video. The frozen lake breathes, booms and crackles as the ice expands and contracts creating the natural, Pythagorean 'music of the spheres' soundtrack.

Requiem for a Chess Game (2024) · Siglufjörður, Northern Iceland · Ice sculpture, photographs and film. An all-white ice chess set, cast and set to 'play' on black basalt sand until the tide takes it. Climate change as wicked game, with a nod to Yoko Ono's White Chess Set.

A Big, Beautiful Wall (2025) · Ilulissat, Greenland · Land art installation: water, snow, ice, food colouring. A checkered wall of red and white ice blocks in the colours of the Greenlandic flag — a people standing shoulder to shoulder, and a chess board of strategic manoeuvring. Made in ice, it answers 'big, beautiful wall' rhetoric and the notion that Greenland could be bought: a wall to keep the United States out.

Disko Bay (2025) · Lino print: Prussian blue oil ink on natural and grey Stonehenge papers. The strong tonal textures of Disko Bay's icebergs, carved in lino. The image is first painted freehand in acrylic ink onto the block, giving a more painterly print. Inspired by a favourite spot near the start of the UNESCO Kangia Yellow Trail, Ilulissat. An example of a “print study”.

Frontline (2025) · Kangia Yellow Trail (UNESCO), Ilulissat, Greenland · Land art sculptural installation: waxed tissue paper lanterns, cotton thread, LED lights, nylon rope, bamboo. Ten illuminated red-and-white biconical lanterns along a cliff edge above Disko Bay's icebergs — a row of buoys marking a threshold between land and sea. Greenland as frontline of climate and geopolitical change.

Geo Desic (2025) · Longyearbyen, Svalbard, Norway · Temporary sculptural land art installation, photographs and video: rusted found nails, cotton string, wool. A geodesic sphere of bonfire-nails held together by connections of white string and wool, then opened flat: earth’s climatic chaos and fragility — the ice sheets, for now, still holding the warming planet together. Geo-desic: earth, desiccated.

Bolts from the blue (2025) · Adventfjorden, Longyearbyen, Svalbard, Norway · Sculptural land art installation and photographs: found rusted nails and bolts, discarded insulation foam, white gouache. A chess set screwed into a fissured 'iceberg' of found insulation foam - adrift in the Arctic. Both sides look the same on a fractured, incomplete board — a wicked game, near-impossible to play let alone win. Also part of my 'wicked chess' series (MVA).
